calico & co birthday swap.....

Now that my swap partner, the gorgeous Lisa from Eme Creations, has received her package in the post I can share what I sent to her with you all.....


This is a photo that Lisa took of her goodies, I am ashamed to say that I didn't take a photo before I sent the package and also that I made a very half hearted attempt at wrapping my gift - it was one of those weeks.....

flower love......

For those of you who have been following me for a bit will know that I am a total sucker for anything to do with flowers. So after a bit of reminiscing yesterday with our Wedding Anniversary (not to mention a totally amazing dinner at Anise last night) I got stuck looking at gorgeous blogs full of wedding flowers.

Can I just say that I am loving this concept of odd little vases filled with gorgeous blooms gracing wedding tables......

halloween goodies.....

Although not a traditional holiday here in Australia, I have noticed that for the last couple of years I have had an increasing number of little ones dressed up in cute costumes knocking on my door crying out Trick or Treat on 30 October! Of course I always have some little treats on hand to give these little treasures!

I have decided to add some Halloween goodies to my Etsy and Made It Stores.

So I am happy to report that I have detoured off Struggle Street this week and am feeling much better than last!

So at my house today.......

We have had a little lie in this morning which was jusst lovely!

Unpacked from our suprisingly relaxing and enjoyable few days away.

Opened a whole heap of Mail including lots of little parcels from online purchases that I have made lately! I love getting mail!

Done a little (yep, just a little) bit of spring cleaning.

Decided on some wording and invite design for a certain Uber Someone's upcoming 30th!

Decided that a faux baby shower would be a good excuse to do this, the chocolate option of course.

And just generally had a nice day with my little guy!

We have spent the last five days in Hervey Bay with Husband's family, although a lot of fun activities were enjoyed I managed to take five photos (very unlike me!). So I have five photos of Nate and Ruby the Dog and they are not even good ones!!
