I am wondering how much longer it will be before I can't see my little one over the big bump!! I would love to know what he is thinking when he looks up and has to take a step back in order to see me!

I cannot get over the fabulous weather we have had here today after a very miserable weekend. We have spent a fair bit of time outside getting our Vitamin D doses!

All in all it has been another productive day in our household which is always nice. The joys of nesting and things needing to be done NOW!

Not ot mention a bit of excitement in the air and gathering of inspiration for the Creative Collective Spring Craft Challenge. I have no idea what I am going to make but am having fun collecting some things for an inspiration board!

creative collective - spring craft challenge....

Ok, so here I introduced you to Creative Collective - a group of bloggers who have joined forces to bring you fun and exciting challenges. I am very excited to welcome you to the very first Creative Collective Challenge!

Here's the details......

BE INSPIRED
The theme is SPRING - if you are lucky enough to be in Brisbane today you will find it easy to find lots of inspiring Spring things with this amazing weather we are experiencing!

CREATE IT
Ok so now you need to use the inspiration gathered to create something crafty based on the theme SPRING! It could be a scrapbook page, a card, a collage, a stitched project, a piece of jewellery, the choice is yours.

SHARE IT
Once you have completed the project, take a photo and upload it to the Creative Collective Flickr Group so that we can see what is inspiring you this Spring.

The project runs from today - 4 October 2010 to 31st October 2010.

After 31st October 2010 each of the ten Creative Collective Members will select their favourite projects and feature them on our blogs. I am pretty sure that I might add a few sneak peaks from the Flickr group throughout the month also! Each of the Creative Collective Members will be participating and creating something Spring too!

this saturday I am grateful for.....ticking things off my list

I am and always have been an avid list maker. My biggest problem lately is that I seem to be continually adding to the list and not ticking anything off. I did the same thing when Master N was a newborn, made the list of things to get done and then was totally depressed by the end of the day when nothing got ticked off. I figured out that if I set myself one thing from the list to get done before husband arrived home, whether it be as simple as get out of my pyjama's or make the bed I was a happy new mum! Lately I have been taking this same stance with my lists and I am becoming a much happier Mum and Mum-to-Be!!
