My mum had given me a piece of fabric that she had bought and wanted me to do 'some kind of a wall hanging' for her - great brief Mum!
I thought about covering buttons with it and putting them in a box frame, I thought about covering canvas with them. Finally I decided to try the Enbroidery Hoop Art thing that is quite popular at the moment and here they are!

I am mum to two gorgeous boys Nate & Hamish and wife to the just as gorgeous and very patient Mitch! We live in Brisbane, Queensland. I spend my days running around after my boys and playing with all things paper. good choice with a tricky brief. I hope she likes it. If not you can do the button one next which also sounds good! A friend of mine just put fabric over a cheap canvas from the cheap shop and gave it to me as a present and i love it.
