this week i am grateful for.....
A change of pace....
It's amazing how time away from your everyday life can recharge the batteries! I have spent the last week at my Mum and Dad's place with the boys - for those of you who aren't aware, my Mum and Dad live smack bang in the middle of a huge apple orchard. I love it here. Husband arrived down here on Thursday night and we are heading home tomorrow.
It has been so nice knowing that I didn't have any routine things to do like swimming lessons, grocery shopping, housework etc.
It has been nice to sit and play with the little ones ALL day without feeling bad because there was some kind of house chore that I should have been doing.
It has been nice to have two extra sets of hands to help with the bathing, feeding, bedtime routine.
It has been nice for a simple change of pace!

I am mum to two gorgeous boys Nate & Hamish and wife to the just as gorgeous and very patient Mitch! We live in Brisbane, Queensland. I spend my days running around after my boys and playing with all things paper. I love ALL things craft and spend too much time scouring Etsy, Made It and too many blogs to list, all in the name of research - of course!!

Grandparents are the greatest! We don't live near ours, so when we visit it's always such a refreshing, recharging time :)

Sometimes a simple break away can be the best thing to recharge the batteries.
So wonderful to get away from the routine sometimes and really enjoy being with the kiddies!! And an apple orchard sounds like the best place to do that!!

It's the reason I like to go to Mum's once a week if I can for the day too. I don't like having to come home to a house filled with the chores still waiting for me. I'm thrilled you had some time out though. xxx
