Home Away from Home.....

We are spending an extended weekend with my Mum and Dad in Stanthorpe (about two and a half hours west of Brisbane on the Granite Belt). This weekend sees the bi-annual Apple and Grape Festival take place starting tonight with the Ball!

It is nice and cold down here and drizzling with rain but we still managed to get out for a good walk in some fresh country air!

Mum and Dad live right in the middle of a gorgeous Apple orchard, here are some photos from this afternoon.....







The fresh country air was all too much for my little man!



We are heading into town to check out all the happenings of the festival tomorrow, looking forward to sampling some beautiful local food and wine!

But right now I am going to snuggle up under a blanket with a cup of tea and check out my latest edition of Country Style



which quite conveniently arrived just as we were packing the car to leave yesterday!
