at my house.....

At my house today we are huddled up inside hiding from the miserable rain outside. We have been so spoilt with fabulous weather for the past week or so that my little one is not happy about not being able to visit the park or be outside on his bike!

At my house today reality has hit and I am now in panic mode about the dwindling time left between now and when Baby Ryder #2 is due to arrive. So many things to fit in before he/she arrives! Eeek!

At my house today I am wondering when is the right time to introduce the Big Boy Bed for Nate. We have just managed to get him sleeping through the night and I don't know if I am ready for a new phase....

At my house today I already have dinner ready! Such an achievement for me!

At my house today Nate has decided to have a sleep, so while he is in sleepy land I am wasting time blogging, what else would one do!

To see what else is happening at other lovely people's places check out Lou's here, that is where I am off to now with a hot cuppa!

Good luck with all the new phases happening at your place at the moment. When is baby No.2 due for arrival? x

Mid december will come around as quick as a flash, the latter part of the year always does, particularly with the craziness of the festive season. x
P.S. follow the link on my post for the gingerbread recipe. It's super easy and makes heaps, and they freeze well too.

Despite the rain it sounds like a lovely day at your house .

Good luck with the new bub soon. It will be wonderful to have a sibling for Nate. My two are lovely friends (but can fight like no tomorrow at times)
The big bed is a big jump. Both mine were around 2 years when we made the change. Both still sleep through the night, there were a few rough moments for them to get use to it, but now it's great. Worse thing is they get up and in your face now at 6.30am. So prepare for a wack in the face from a little hand to say good morning. Best of all good luck.

oh we've been lucky with glorious weather - its exciting as my boys can go out and play, they were cooped up during Winter and climbing the walls with boredom haha, they love the outdoors!

Amazingly we had some sunshine today! No rush for a big boy bed if you don't need to I wouldn't think. Obviously we just did it with my 2 and a couple of months year old but that was because we already had a bed and because he was starting to sleep on a mattress on the floor rather than in his cot. No right or wrong time so just go with the flow - or necessity.

I also had dinner ready early today and I was feeling very proud of myself as well! Thanks for joining in again this week. Lou.

we did have great weather here in melbourne, I think we get the rain tomorrow.
i hope you don't panic yourself too much about number two. I found that with the 2nd it just seems to go with the flow a bit more. sometimes it's not about right or wrong or routines it's about surviving the early months with a toddler & a newborn.
no rush on the big boy bed until you are ready aswell.
enjoy the sleep when you get it!
you are a mum, you will get things sorted before number 2.

I was looking forward to a sunny day today and tomorrow isn't going to be any better the weather man says. So out come the rainy day activities for us again tomorrow.

It's such a nice feeling having dinner ready early. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day.:)
