Once the Auction has ended the highest bidder on each item will then be contacted to make payment and provide a postal address.
The items will be posted to the highest bidders by those who donated them, once payment has been received.
SUPPORT:
All funds raised from the selling of these items will be donated to the Starlight Foundation [www.starlight.org.au] to help grant the wish of sick children this Christmas.
"Since being formed as an Australian children’s charity in 1988, Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children, and their families, throughout Australia. Starlight programs are delivered both in and out of hospital, providing positive distraction to children in their time of need. The pain, loneliness and isolation that sick children feel dominates their lives, and they often miss out on normal experiences that healthy children take for granted. Physical recovery is only part of the solution. Starlight delivers innovative programs designed to make children happy and lift their spirits when they need it most. Starlight brings fun and laughter to children no matter what their illness or where they live." - From The Starlight Foundation website.
We would love you to join with us in this project. We hope to make a difference in the lives of sick children at a time when cheer and laughter are most needed at this festive time of year. The auction will be a great place to do some Christmas shopping and buy a gift that will give twice!
I am excited to see what everyone comes up with after our fantastic response to our first project!
